This lot is a real treat! Here we have a scarce original Program for The Rolling Stones UK Tour in early 1965! This was the band’s fifth British Tour ever and the first in 1965. On March 5th The Stones began at The Regal Theatre in Edmonton London and wrapped up on the 18th at the ABC Theatre. It was a 14-date tour with The Hollies The Konrads and Dave Berry and the Cruisers.
The Stones were supporting their 2nd album release “Rolling Stones #2”. Vintage tour programs from the 60’s are harder to find with each passing year. As quantities of available programs decrease the more collectible they become. This is the first time we have offered this historic UK Tour issue! We auctioned a 1965 American Tour Program in similar condition for $546 in August of last year.
