This poster is signed by founding Jefferson Airplane member Signe Anderson!
Signe Anderson co-founded Jefferson Airplane as their female vocalist. Anderson would leave the band after the birth of her child and Grace Slick would take the mic in October of 1966. The Airplane would go on to have the greatest initial commercial success of any of the Bay Area Bands in the 1960’s. Signe passed away in 2016. She signed some reprint posters which were available at Wolfgang’s Vault but here we have an original FIRST PRINTING BG-30 with her beautiful signature the first of its kind we've ever offered.
How much would music fans today pay to attend this incredible line up of The Grateful Dead Jefferson Airplane and The Butterfield Blues Band?! Not only does this poster feature three of the best bands of the era its heady design sucks you in. Demand for early Fillmore posters graded 9.6 or higher is insatiable in today's market. In February 2018 a similar museum quality example reached $644 in our auction and it wasn't signed. More and more collectors are coming into the fold with the knowledge that musician's signatures add a whole other dimension to their treasures.
