Hold on to your peace frogs! This is a super rare Doors handbill from a concert in 1970 which took place in Dallas Texas at the State Fair Music Hall! This was the next to last show with Jim Morrison and demand for tickets was so high an early AND late second show were added. Approx. 3 000 were in attendance during the early show. Tickets for the late show were sold at the door.
It was a pretty wild couple of sets with some rarities in the set lists like “Palace In The Canyon” “Land Ho” “Ship of Fools” and a later-era Doors version of their early hit “The End” with “Mystery Train” teases. Also included were timeless classics like “Back Door Man” “LA Woman” and “When The Music’s Over”.
This handbill represents a MAJOR opportunity for the advanced concert poster collector. Given the extreme rarity of this item combined with the historical relevance to the group guarantees this will instantly become a highlight of any collection in which it resides.
