This poster is signed and numbered 144/500 in pencil by both artists Stanley Mouse and the late Alton Kelley!
One of the most iconic and enduring images in the entire hobby the famous FD14 “Zig-Zag Man” advertises a pair of concerts by Big Brother and The Holding Company and Quicksilver Messenger Service at the Avalon Ballroom. In 2008 Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley hand screen printed this massively sized 27 1/8" x 37 1/2" commemorative limited edition on fine paper which they numbered and signed in pencil! There were only 500 of these huge and amazing pieces produced and distributed by Rhino Records! The print run from Rhino also included other popular titles like FD-5 FD-26 and FD-22.
A special limited edition issue like this is unique and allows new collectors to have a chance to acquire this classic image one of the most popular 1960's concert poster images in a beautiful LARGE format size for a far lower price than the pre-concert original FD-14 printings can realize when they surface.
