We're pleased to offer this Texas rarity for the FIRST TIME in our auction! Much like his father Woody Arlo Guthrie wrote & played songs of protest against social injustice and storytelling while performing. Arlo's most famous song "Alice's Restaurant Massacree" has since become a modern day national Thanksgiving anthem. As legendary as they come he's still presently today a strong political figure. He performed at Austin's Armadillo in early 1978.
This poster has just emerged from a recently unearthed and long held collection of Texas posters. Armadillo HQ concert posters are red hot in today's marketplace with the appreciation for their rarity and historical importance growing more each day. A recently published book on the venue has further ignited interest.
Combining this legendary venue with the incomparable Arlo Guthrie makes for a concert poster of extreme desirability. We may not see this issue surface again for a very long time. If you collect Austin posters act now! Read our blog dated 2/12/18 to find out why material from this famous music venue is skyrocketing in popularity.
