This mildly erotic Guy Juke poster was created for the Armadillo’s annual New Years Eve party in 1978. The performance featured Too Smooth Bugs Henderson and the Wommack Brothers. This poster has just emerged from a recently unearthed and long held collection of Texas material.
Demand for Armadillo posters is currently at an all time high and we see this as just the early days in a long trend. This can be attributed to several reasons including scarcity historical significance as ground zero in the Texas psychedelic scene and the recently published book on the venue "Armadillo World Headquarters - A Memoir" by Eddie Wilson with Jesse Sublett and forward by Dave Marsh.
