Here we have the very FIRST CGC Graded example of the BG-15 handbill we've ever offered! This Wes Wilson Original Handbill was produced for an early Fillmore concert by the Turtles. It would only be 6 short months after this concert their song "Happy Together" would replace the Beatles' "Penny Lane" at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. This handbill's central image of jamming turtles was created by German illustrator and cartoonist Heinrich Kley. The image was also the inspiration for the Grateful Dead Album Terrapin Station. An early Bill Graham handbill in pristine top condition! Handbills are currently one of the hottest segments of the market. Read our blog dated 5/18/18 for details!
