This  is one of the most popular Grateful Dead posters of all time. Created by Detroit artist Gary Grimshaw. This cartoon image shows just how diverse Grimshaw’s talent was he utilized varying styles throughout his poster making career.

This copy is especially important as it was a true promotional copy that directed  ticket buyers to the ticket outlet for the event Discount Records that is why the mail order information on the bottom has marker though it. This poster was either hung on campus or in the ticket outlet itself.

This poster was culled from the personal collection of  artist Hugh Surratt.
