The “Sound” was Bill Graham’s own description of what was going on musically in San Francisco in October of 1966. Artist Wes Wilson used Bill's words as the inspiration for this classic Fillmore poster. Hunted profusely by collectors around the world the BG-29 Original First Printings were produced in both black/white & color versions this example being the first. This poster is large and thus difficult to find in undamaged condition. In many people's opinion this image is one of the finest concert posters ever created.
