Only the 3rd CGC Graded example -- and in the FINEST QUALITY CONDITION -- of BG-26 OP-1 we've ever auctioned! This Jefferson Airplane & Grateful Dead issue is a favorite among collectors. The BG-26 is also another creative leap forward for the work of Wes Wilson. This image represents the first time that the artist would incorporate a nude figure into his Fillmore poster art. This would be a reoccurring theme in Wilson's work for the remainder of the time he was enlisted by Bill Graham.
In February 2017 an example not certified by CGC in similar condition reached $975 in another auction. That piece was described as having "small tack holes in each corner and some light aging". CGC has brought much needed integrity and stability to this marketplace and this piece is no exception. Early Bill Graham posters like this Original First Printing with no restoration will always enjoy top demand!
