This is the FIRST CGC Graded example of this incredibly rare and LARGE Grateful Dead poster to ever appear in our auction! The Day on the Green was a reoccurring event hosted by Bill Graham at The Oakland Coliseum Stadium and featured many high profile acts over the Years. The October 1976 show had to be one of the best ever with the Dead opening for the Who! This poster was designed by Phillip Garris; he also created the legendary art for the Grateful Dead Album "Blues for Allah".

Due to its large size in the past we've usually seen examples either restored or mounted on foamcore. This clean example here is 100% Original with no restoration whatsoever!
