This lot will be accompanied by a Letter of Provenance attesting to the fact that it resided in the historic Early '66 Time Capsule Collection one of the most exciting and important concert poster discoveries of the past 20 years.
We are proud to offer only the second CGC graded example of the famous and ultra rare FD-7 "Euphoria" concert poster to appear at public auction! There are two pre-concert Original Printings. The OP-1 is black and white and the green OP-2 colored version is offered here. Combined less than 500 posters were created and just a fraction of those exist in ANY condition today. Eric King considers this to be on the same level rarity wise as the FD-1 and the FD-2.
There are literally thousands of collectors looking for Original First Print Family Dog concert posters but just a tiny quantity of FD-7's in existence today. Always considered one of THE keys to the entire Family Dog collection this lot is sure to garner much attention and bidder enthusiasm.
Estimate: In June 2017 we auctioned a slightly higher 8.5 CGC graded example that commanded $15 537 in our auction. These are the ONLY two CGC graded specimens to be offered at auction anywhere to date. A fabulous poster with an unimprovable provenance create a wonderful opportunity that may not present itself again anytime soon.
