This lot will be accompanied by a Letter of Provenance attesting to the fact that it resided in the historic Early '66 Time Capsule Collection one of the most exciting and important concert poster discoveries of the past 20 years.
This Mime Troupe poster is very scarce and nice touch with the hand drawn embellishment. It is from the period where Bill Graham now busy with the Fillmore Auditorium was distancing himself from the Mime Troupe. In March Graham's name still appeared on some of their advertising but was soon removed as he was just involved with his new business. They toiled on in pretty much the same fashion as they previously had with their Politically critical-ironic overtones and free performances.
