The 1966 Halloween concert was called “The Dance of Death Costume Ball” and held at the famous California Hall. It was planned at the last minute because the Dead were originally scheduled to perform at Alliope Warehouse for the Acid Test Graduation but instead they cancelled and played at Cal Hall.

Our records show this is the very FIRST CGC Graded example to appear in any public auction. Rare unusual unique historic!
