This is the FINEST QUALITY CGC Graded example of this poster to appear in our auction! This poster is artist Rick Griffin's contribution to the 1967 Joint show. The show featured the work of top poster artists of the day. The exhibition was held at the Moore gallery in San Francisco on 7/17/67.
Please note: There were three original printings of this poster (OP-1 OP-2 and OP-3) on glossy paper a silver foil paper and a gold foil paper. This example here is the First Official Reprint of this issue (RP-4) printed on a coated index paper. The "RP-4" numbering code is slightly mis-leading as this is technically the FIRST reprint and NOT the FOURTH reprint as the code would suggest. Superb Museum Quality Condition with no nicks cuts tears or pinholes!
