May of 1968 brought the Northern California Folk Festival to the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds in San Jose California. This two day festival featured several of the most popular bands of the day. The Doors and the Animals were the headliners of the Festival and San Francisco favorites such as Big Brother Jefferson Airplane and The Dead also shared the stage.
The use of the photogenic Jim Morrison as the central image makes this a very a striking and memorable advertisement. A cornerstone of any true 60’s poster collection
