This early original first printing Pink Floyd handbill has been professionally restored however it’s scarcity and desirability remain undeniable.

During their North American Tour during July and August of 1968 Pink Floyd performed two nights at The Bank in Torrance California. Black Pearl opened each night and also played a third night.
This was the first time the Floyd toured the states with their newest member David Gilmour after Syd’s departure. The madcap-laughing tile artwork on this Bank handbill was designed by Robert A. Wilson.
Pink Floyd’s tour that summer got off to a late start due to problems with their work permits so they had to stay in Canada until their paperwork was processed. Once it finally launched the 2 month tour included some of the most legendary venues in the United States including The Kinetic Playground The Grande Ballroom The Shrine The Avalon Sound Factory and The Bank.
Material from The Bank in Torrance is highly sought after by collectors. We’ve only seen one other specimen surface at public auction over the past 5 years. Material from this venue seems to be extra hard to find. They were printed in very small quantities which makes them extremely rare these days in ANY condition!
Combined with the fact that early Pink Floyd material is some of the most popular hunted and cherished collectibles in the market this historic handbill should not be overlooked. It’s not likely to surface again any time soon.
