We are pleased to offer in this auction one of the toughest Kaleidoscope posters to locate for the FIRST TIME with CGC grading! Best of all it's in Superb Museum Quality Condition! This poster announced a May 1968 performance by the talented San Francisco psychedelic band Moby Grape. Number 10 in the series it's a very popular issue with both poster and comic book collectors. The Super Hero with a peace sign is an incredible image from the era!
This lot is part of a group of recently unearthed original Kaleidoscope posters we have the pleasure of now offering to the collecting community in this auction. During April of 2017 a lesser quality condition example described as "Almost Mint 89" with several creases realized $472 in our auction. This example here being the first certified poster by CGC in any other collectibles market would be worth many multiples of the previously sold example. It's tough to see why this piece didn't get a 9.8 grade. No creases nicks cuts tears or pinholes! Simply beautiful!
