The legendary CREAM at the Fillmore! This is only the third CGC graded example of this original poster to appear in our auction and it's signed by the artist. Mint signed examples of this extremely rare and desirable issue reach well beyond $1000. This 7.5 graded poster will without a doubt offer value to those collectors out there hungry to own this scarce SIGNED specimen without breaking the bank.
Cream was at the height of their game at the time of the shows. Having formed in 1966 the band met with critical acclaim. However after a couple of years of heavy touring the band was strained by internal conflict between Baker and Bruce. They would close down shop by the end of 1968.
In June 2018 a lower 5.0 graded signed example reached $489 in our auction. In any other collectibles market this poster would be worth many multiples of the previously sold example. It will be interesting to see what premium the market attaches to this superior SIGNED example now.
