Jazz trombonist and composer Tommy Dorsey was a big band legend during the 1940's. Unfortunately his life was cut short in 1956 when he died in his sleep however his legacy continued. Trombone master Warren Covington became leader of the band with Tommy’s widow Jane’s blessing (she owned the rights to her late husband's band and name). Billed as the "Tommy Dorsey Orchestra Starring Warren Covington" they topped the charts in 1960 with the "Tea for Two Cha-Cha".
