A Classic poster for a Classic punk show! The story goes a brawl broke out during the New York Dolls’ set. Seeing one of their fans being beaten by a cop David Johansen tried to intervene and he was arrested on stage for “inciting a riot”. He spent the night in jail dressed “like Liza Minelli” in Memphis. Iggy and the Stooges were promoting their newest album "Raw Power". Punk posters are hard to find and this is sure to attract a lot of collector attention. The finest quality example we have ever handled of this issue! A lower condition graded example reached $874 over a year ago in our auction.
