A Peter Tosh Cardboard Poster being offered for the FIRST TIME in our auction! Note the "Rolling Stones Records" logo in the bottom left of the image! This vintage Cardboard Colby Printing Company Poster was produced for Peter Tosh at Hollywood's Roxy Theatre in 1981. Peter was a strong force in reggae music. Along with Bob Marley and Bunny Wailer he was one of the core members of The Wailers until 1976 after which he established himself as a successful solo artist.
This run of shows were part of the "Wanted Dread & Alive" Tour promoting Peter's newest album released on the Rolling Stones Records label. Tragically years later Peter Tosh was murdered in 1987 during a home invasion however his music and popularity made him a martyr in the eyes of many fans. This cardboard specimen is in superb museum quality condition! Original cardboard posters are super popular and remain one of the most highly sought after type of concert memorabilia ever known.
