The band America peaked with their hit song “A Horse with No Name” then faded quickly in 1971. During 1974 at the time of this concert poster in Lake Charles the group experienced a rebirth.

They released their album “Holiday” in June 1974 choosing to enlist an outside producer. They were able to secure the services of producer George Martin who obviously played a major role in shaping the sound of The Beatles. With Martin's guidance they enhanced their acoustic sound with strings and brass.

The trio found themselves popular again with high album sales and a full tour because their single "Tin Man" reached No. 4 on the charts. This vintage poster from Lake Charles Civic Center was part of that successful tour which featured Doug Ross in support. 100% Original with no restoration!
