This is the FIRST TIME we’ve offered this super rare Rolling Stones poster in our auction. Most collectors are familiar with the iconic poster art designed by David Byrd which was used for shows promoting the band’s 1969 Tour of the Americas. Technically that tour ended with the low-note Altamont Festival on December 6th however 2 additional dates were added in London at the Saville & Lyceum Theaters. The same Byrd-designed tour posters were used to promote these UK shows and England’s own Procol Harum opened for the Stones on the 21st at the Lyceum.
