Here is a classic early Mouse/Kelley design for the weirdness that was Captain Beefheart and His Magic Band. Artist Don Van Vliet AKA Captain Beefheart had a powerful and unique voice he blended various musical styles with an experimental approach.
This poster utilizes an illustration from late 19th century German cartoonist Heinrich Kley and is truly striking. Knowledgeable collectors know that early Family Dog material is many times rarer than the Fillmore series. As such posters such as this are highly sought after whenever offered at public sale!
