Here we have the FIRST CGC Graded example of this issue to appear in our auction! This scarce and beautiful original handbill from '68 is a highly hunted and early Grateful Dead relic! The design by artist Rebecca Galdeano was produced for the Autumn Equinox Festival held at the Del Mar Fairgrounds in San Diego California on September 22nd 1968. The festival featured performances by The Grateful Dead Quicksilver Messenger Service Taj Mahal and several other groups of the era! We have only seen this early festival issue appear in public auctions a small handfull of times over the years. It could be a very long time before we see another one!
