This poster is one of David Singers most beautiful works of art. The performance itself was historic as well. According to legend at this stop on The Who’s 1973 Quadrophenia tour drummer Keith Moon was so he was out of his mind that he was unable to perform through all of the sets. The band played a few songs without a drummer then Pete Townsend asked for a drummer from the audience. Nineteen-year-old drummer Scott Halpin embraced the opportunity of a lifetime and joined the Who onstage for several songs.
