The Psychedelic Art Exchange is privileged to offer an extremely scarce and highly sought after Jimi Hendrix cardboard poster. This poster was produced for a concert to be held at the Miami Jai Alai Fronton on September 21 1969. The show was cancelled and the bulk of the posters were destroyed. Our research reveals there are likely less than 5 copies of this poster known to exist—in any condition! We were fortunate to be able auction one of these several years ago and never expected to see one again. By chance the consigner who had seen our previous listing reached out to us to facilitate the sale of this copy contacted us.
The poster was provided by Community Forklift Community Forklift is a nonprofit reuse center for building materials & antiques. - Condition Details- There is a ½” tear and a tape pull in the middle of the top edge. This poster has one set of staple holes in the bottom right and a light groove that is 7” long creasing in the corners heavy staining in three corners as well as light stains on the lower half. This poster has soft corners. There is a tiny dark stain in Hendrix’s hair.
