This is the FIRST example of this rare issue we've ever auctioned! Gilbert Shelton is one of the greatest underground artists in history. Shelton was also an early contributor to the Vulcan Gas Company poster series and was best known for his classic "Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers" and Fat Freddie's Cat comics. This 1971 poster exhibits the Freewheelin’ Franklin character enjoying the high life. Shelton’s original posters are in high demand and considered by many VERY undervalued at current low market levels. This poster produced by Rip Off Press is very conservatively graded and it's in super clean condition with no nicks cuts tears or pinholes! A great find!
