This original first printing poster was culled from the personal collection of the artist Hugh Surratt. Surratt was responsible for a series of posters that advertised concerts at Michigan State University in the early 1970’s. The popular 1971 Grateful Dead poster from Jenison Field House was also designed by the talented artist!
Elton John is one of the most respected and colorful performers of all time. This poster from 1972 is from a very early tour by the pop Star just before he became a chart topping recording artist propelled into star status. This poster is true sleeper. It has the potential to be a very valuable poster in years to come.
