1967 –Berkeley Community Theater-Dave Van Ronk – PAE Graded Mint “95”

Here is an offering by one of the less famous but equally talented poster artists of the San Francisco scene Greg Irons. Irons who produced a significant body of poster art was equally known for his stellar work as an underground comix creator. Before his early tragic death Greg Irons produced some of the most interesting and comical posters of the genre. Additionally later in his career he spent his energy studying and creating amazing tattoo art.

This poster was produced for a pair of concerts featuring folk music heroes Dave Van Ronk and Mimi Farina who wasJoan Baez’ sister . The shows were held one night at the Berkeley Community Theater and the other at the Masonic Auditorium in San Francisco
