This poster announced the grand opening of the Western Front. The Western Front was a short lived and relatively obscure rock club that opened in June of 1967 in San Francisco’s Tenderloin district. This Greg Irons poster announces the first week of shows at the venue. . Artists included Big Brother Quicksilver and The Charlatans...Check out the reference to Sgt. Pepper which had ony been out a few weeks when this poster was created.
