This poster is signed in pencil by the artist Randy Tuten!

We have only offered this issue once before in our auction and it was not SIGNED! This poster designed by Randy Tuten was produced to promote the legendary 6 night run The Grateful Dead played at San Francisco's small Orpheum Theatre during the summer or 1976. These shows were put on by none other than mister Bill Graham himself. In the late sixties after a year of being rejected as a poster artist by Chet Helms at the Avalon a young artist named Randy Tuten took his portfolio to the Fillmore where Bill Graham immediately hired him. Tuten was partial to traditional advertising styles and Graham was bound to see his work as something more like his own tastes. Graham continued to tap Tuten through the seventies for poster design work time and time again for venues like the Oakland Stadium Cow Palace and others. This poster is in sweet museum quality condition and best of all it's SIGNED by the artist!
