Here we have an Original Grateful Dead Handbill from Texas during their golden era of trippy psychedelic improv right before they went in an acoustic direction with "Workingman's Dead" the following year. Many West Coast bands in the late sixties would perform shows in Dallas during their tours through Texas. The reasons were simple: Bigger facilities and a bigger population of music lovers. Early Dead material is one of the most popular collectibles out of all the Psychedelic San Fran sound bands. Read our Blog Dated 8/1/18 where we discuss the recent growth of the Dead’s legacy with today’s younger generation and the impact this has on authentic material in our collectors world.
