This lot represents a very special example of a cool collectible “Insider” item! This is an original Columbia Records promotional lyric sheet from 1965 of Bob Dylan’s single “Subterranean Homesick Blues”. The legendary song was first released 3/8/65 as a single from the album “Bringing It All Back Home” which was issued 2 weeks later. It was one of Dylan’s first electric songs and hailed by many (including John Lennon) as one of the greatest songs of the era. The fun and innovative “video” for the single first appeared in D. A. Pennebaker's documentary “Don’t Look Back”. This rare vintage piece is not something that will surface for collectors on any kind of regular basis. If you are a Dylan fan this lot is for you!
