This poster is an incredible find. Somehow this piece has survived the last 40 years in excellent shape. It is truly remarkable that this piece has been somehow saved from the landfills for so many years
The poster was for a Humble Pie concert at the Alexandria Roller Rink in Alexandria Virginia. In Support was the 1971 incarnation for prog rock giants King Crimson (notice the misspelling of the band name). The Alexandria Roller rink was a small short lived venue in Northern Virginia the roller rink staged several powerful acts during its brief tenure.
This poster was provided by Community Forklift. Community Forklift is a nonprofit reuse center for building materials & antiques. At their huge warehouse you can donate or shop for modern & vintage house parts hardware tools reclaimed lumber lighting and architectural salvage.
