This lot is the FINEST CGC graded example of this popular Grateful Dead poster we have ever offered! Here we have a famous collaboration between Rick Griffin and Alton Kelley created for several weeks of shows in the summer of 1968. This month’s line up included powerhouse performances by the Who and the Grateful Dead. In November 2018 a lower 9.2 example realized $546 in our auction. In any other collectibles market this 9.6 poster would be worth many multiples of the previously sold example. It will be interesting to see what premium the market attaches to this superior museum quality example now!
