It's one of the most overlooked gems in the entire Family Dog series. The design and color scheme is truly electrifying and the poster stands on its own for these qualities.
This image shows up repeatedly in articles and books about the sixties yet somehow this poster still remains an incredible bargain. This is likely a case where if the poster had been used to promote a more powerhouse performer it would sell for multiples of where it is valued now.
It's a great poster for the beginning collector just starting out. You get a famous design by a legendary artist in un-improvable flawless condition at an affordable price. An unsigned 9.8 graded example reached $644 in our April 2017 auction.
