The FINEST QUALITY CGC Graded example of this original poster to appear in our auction! We are proud to offer this rarely seen Allman Brothers Band poster from fall of 1973. It's beautiful sharp and sure to stir up the most serious collector's interests.
In September of 1973 the band had just released their 4th studio album "Brothers and Sisters" which contained "Ramblin' Man" "Jessica" and others. At this time Dickey Betts really begin to flourish as the chief songwriter for the band. The inclusion of Chuck Leavell on piano also added a fresh flavor to the new studio material and in their legendary live performances.
This unique issue seldom surfaces and when it does it always attracts much attention from collectors! In May 2018 a signed lower 9.4 graded example of this poster reached $1036 in our auction. In any other collectibles market this poster would be worth many multiples of the previously sold example. It will be interesting to see what premium the market attaches to this superior 9.6 graded and signed example now.
