The concert posters for Austin Texas’ Armadillo World Headquarters are among the finest of the 1970’s. The performers include the finest Rock Blues Country and Singer-Writer artists of the decade. The artwork is top notch. The venue is historic. There is a defined series. All of this adds up to a collectors dream.
This poster was issued for two 1973 performances by Rock/Funk/ Boogie masters Little Feat. The band was at the height of their creative output just after their release of the classic recording “Dixie Chicken”. Artist Micael Priest designed several of the most popular Texas posters with great eye appeal.
Armadillio World Headquarters posters are currently enjoying top collector demand. This can be attributed to several reasons including scarcity historical significance as ground zero in the Texas psychedelic scene and the recently published book on the venue "Armadillio World Headquarters - A Memoir" by Eddie Wilson with Jesse Sublett and forward by Dave Marsh.
