The Fillmore East was Bill Graham's contribution to the New York City music scene in the late 1960’s. The venue operated from March 1968 to June 1971. During that period the Fillmore East hosted some on the most memorable shows of the Era. Unlike the West Coast Fillmore the East Coast counterpart did not use posters to promote each show.
Of those few posters that were created this example by artist David Byrd has become one of the gems of the series. This Jefferson Airplane Fillmore East poster is not only stunning but in museum quality condition.
