Rick Griffin’s masterpiece the BG-105 is considered by many collectors to be the most famous concert image from the 1960’s. It features what is arguably the best artwork ever rendered for a rock concert.
This is a wonderful Original Postcard & Ticket combination lot which includes the CGC certified Postcard and the original Bill Graham Presents Ticket with the same image. The BG-105 Original Postcard First Printing Version C was a double sized postcard which included the Bg-106 image as well. This example here was hand-cut from the Version C and is therefore in a CGC "Restored" Grade holder. There is no color touch pieces added or restoration of any kind on this postcard. The ticket is not graded however it is in fine shape.
CGC graded postcards are VERY popular with collectors. You get a great collectible package the same iconic art for the fraction of what the poster commands. In March 2018 a 9.4 graded example reached $547 in our auction.
