This highly sought after masterpiece by artist Lee Conklin is one of the most requested and well-known posters in the Fillmore series. This stunning black and white illustration exemplifies the artists’ style of hidden and flowing images. The art was so powerful that Santana had the piece reworked for their first album cover. This image is one of the most used examples of 1960’s art in volumes chronicling the genre.
We've only offered this OP-1 with CGC Grading once a year ago and that example was graded 6.5 Restored and was not signed. The high water mark for this issue is another example that was graded by CGC as 9.6 but was NOT signed. That specimen realized $10 062 in April 2017.
