Here we have only the third CGC graded example of this original handbill to appear in our auction. The BG-5 is an early 1966 Wes Wilson design for a Jefferson Airplane show at the Fillmore. This is an example of the relatively primitive designs of the first few posters and handbills for the venue. You can really see the style of Wes Wilson evolving in these early Fillmore designs.
This rare original handbill is in beautiful super clean condition with only a slight bid of toning on the edges holding it back from a perfect grade. There are no nicks cuts tears or pinholes and it's 100% Original with no restoration. Very few original examples still exist in this great condition these days.
