This is the FIRST TIME we have offered this vintage original handbill in our auction! The Kinks’ chart topping hit “You Really Got Me” and their cover of Little Richard's "Long Tall Sally" propelled them to great heights in a short time in 1964. The Hollies (with a very young Graham Nash in the lineup) had just released their single "Just One Look" which had top ten success in the UK and the US. The two bands shared a bill in April at the Gaumont Theatre in England with the likes of The Dave Clark Five and The Mojo's. This original handbill is in amazing condition for its age with no restoration whatsoever and is a great starting point for young collectors beginning to get their feet wet in this fascinating marketplace.
