We are thrilled to offer the collecting community this rare Sex Pistols promo poster for the FIRST TIME in our auction! This LARGE original first printing poster was produced to advertise the 1977 studio album "Never Mind the Bollocks Here's the Sex Pistols". It is frequently referenced as the most influential punk album and one of the most important albums of all time. The legendary Sid Vicious had just joined the group in this era.
The images on the poster are a nod to their song "God Save The Queen" which didn't go over well in many people's eyes. By the time of the album's release the Sex Pistols were very controversial to the general public having sworn on live TV and being banned from playing live in most parts of England. This huge oversized poster is extremely scarce and few have surfaced for collectors over the years. It has all of the important attributes needed for a classic collectible record company promo item and it’s 100% original with no restoration whatsoever!
