The preeminent Ska and reggae band-Toots and the Maytalls took the stage at Austin’s Armadillo World Headquarters in December of 1978. This Jim Franklin portrait of Frederick Nathaniel "Toots" Hibbert is a lasting tribute to this reggae star. Reggae had a large following in Austin because of the their attitude of “Fight the Man”.
