The 1974 Film ”Ladies and Gentlemen the Rolling Stones” was a Concert film that featured The Stones on their 1972 North American Tour. The tour was in support of the bands phenomenally epic recording “Exile on Main Street”
This poster announced the invitation only world premier of the film at the famous Ziegfeld Theater in New York. The film was one of the first ever recorded in quadraphonic sound to give the audience the feel of a live concert.
The more valuable and scarce part of this lot are the tickets and parking pass for the event. Thjey have been preserved in thier original envelope.The envelope contains glitter from the original package!
This is more than just a poster that we are offering . This is a piece of music history. The poster and tickets belonged to THE innovator of the electric guitar Les Paul and hung in his home for decades. The entire package was originally given to Les Paul for the event and has been immaculately preserved to this day!
