This beautiful handbill features a bird with Janis Joplin’s head and if you didn’t know–the Grateful Dead’s “Bird Song” was written by Jerry Garcia and Robert Hunter as a tribute right after her passing.

Many collectors believe this is one of the great pieces of Janis concert poster art to EVER be created. The posters featuring the same art can trade for well over $5 000 in this same state of preservation.

Handbills graded by CGC are RED HOT as reported in our blog dated 5/18/18. This lot is no exception! In June 2018 a same 9.4 graded example reached $431 in our auction. This museum quality piece is such a beautiful eye-appealing and iconic diamond!
