We are pleased to offer for the FIRST TIME with CGC Grading this early Greg Irons original poster! This was produced as the first venue poster for San Francisco’s Western Front. Iron’s was hired to begin designing posters for the famed venue by his friend Milan Melvin who was involved with the club in its infancy.

The graphic exhibited a false wooden storefront with a teepee behind it and striking color relationships. Irons went on to continue producing material for the venue most notably the following “grand opening” 6/28-7/2/1967 week issue featuring Big Brother and the Holding Company. Many collectors believe that posters graded 8.5 by CGC represent the best value in the marketplace today. See our blog dated 1/31/18 to learn why demand is currently skyrocketing.
